Craigadam Wedding Dumfries & Galloway
Aisla & Charles had the most amazing Craigadam wedding, but first a little backstory. They met through their love of Sailing both families both sail down at the beautiful picturesque Kippford (really is a lovely place and if you’ve never had the chance to visit it is one of Dumfries & Galloways hidden gems). We even did their engagement shoot down on the beach at Kippford in the Summer, so the place is really in the blood.
On the morning of the wedding, I headed through to Ailsa mums house where Ailsa and her Bridal party were all getting ready for the big day. It was a dull morning, but that didn’t dampen their spirits. We then all left the house to head to the beautiful Southwick Parish Church before making our way to their Craigadam Wedding Reception. The ceremony was incredibly moving with many tears of joy shed and lots of laughter too. At their Craigadam Wedding, we wasted no time at all in going out into the woods at the back of Craigadam for the couples pictures as the rain was set to come in. We got some beautiful shots (see below) off all the intense, vibrant colours Autumn has to offer. Not a moments after we got back to the car the heavens opened.
Then it was back inside for the speeches to begin, first of all with Ailsa’s Dad, followed by Charles’ with a lot of emotion involved but it was super cute to see. Then onto his best man with lots of comedy involved and even a poem about the couple which was hilarious. The couple and their bridal party danced the night away at their Craigadam Wedding which has a super cool reception room that is a courtyard full of water fountains and plants everywhere with a marquee roof over the top so perfect for any situation.
I had a fantastic time getting to know both Charles & Ailsa this year and loved every minute of the Craigadam Wedding Celebrations.
