Cocoa Bean Wedding | Kevin & Madeline | Every Summer Has A Story.
I first met Kevin & Madeline at a local wedding fayre and from the moment they began telling me all about what they were planning for their cocoa bean wedding I knew it was going to be special!
Kevin & Madeline first met on a date a few years ago and from that day on their love has blossomed into something incredibly special. Their big wedding day started with the bridal prep at Jon Walkers Hairdressers, who welcomed myself and Daniel the Videographer with open arms and let us have free reign to make sure we got some amazing shots of the bridal party getting ready.
After the hairdressers we headed to Madeline’s mum’s house where Madeline would finish getting into her beautiful dress. Madeline surprised her Bridesmaids with some lovely gifts!
Then it was onto the venue, the Cocoa Bean is set in the grounds of a chocolate factory for those who have never been. With its own dedicated area for weddings a beautiful archway transported you to a stunning setting. With the glorious summer sun out with his hat on, we started getting those venue & details shots I know all couples want a treasure forever.
One of Dumfries’ most talented florists created all the flowers for the wedding.
The cocoa bean wedding ceremonies are held at the footsteps of the bandstand. With all their nearest and dearest watching in awe including Madeline’s daughter Lily, Kevin & Madeline said ‘I do’!
With the Cocoa Bean just finishing there new wedding area earlier in the year it provided some amazing pictures for the couple including there big love swing and at the foot of a babbling brook, which still wasn’t as warm as you’d like for standing in, even for the summer! But it definitely made for some stunning keepsakes.
The speeches were as you can except very beautiful, until it came the time for Kevin’s brother Ross’ best man speech. Who gave Kevin as you can imagine a major roasting about all the things Kevin has done in the past, which had most of the guests in tears!
The couple has there first dance to fantastic live band Elwood and danced the rest of the night away enjoy the long summer evening we can enjoy in Dumfries & Galloway. Amazing couple and guests thank you very much for letting me be apart of your special day!
