Sophie & Gavin’s Deep Summer Springkell Wedding
Chloe & Gavin has the most picture perfect summer Springkell Wedding. We were so lucky in 2018 to have the best Summer I can ever remember and extra luck for Chloe and Gavin because that weather fell on their wedding day. The couple is the definition of Childhood Sweethearts, having been an item since they were both in High School. I don’t think it surprised anyone when Gavin proposed to Chloe. They both decided they would love to have their Springkell Wedding Reception and began planning. I was also very fortunate enough to shoot Chloe & Gavins Ae Forest Engagement Shoot, so I got to know the couple super well before they’re big day. Definitely check out the photos from that session Chloe brought along her family dog Belle who was seriously cute, and I wanted to take her home!
The big day finally arrived both Chloe & Gavin got ready at the Springkell Wedding Venue, Chloe’s room had lots of laughter and a healthy dose of Niki Minaj on her Spotify Playlist. Chloe made her way downstairs when it was time with her dad by her side and bridesmaids leading the way to their beautiful Humanist Wedding Ceremony. The couple did a traditional handfasting ceremony with their family tartans which was super nice. We went around the exquisite grounds of Springkell for their couples shoot, and the weather held for us to be able to get a little golden hour shoot with the couple before their evening reception.
The speeches were fantastic and hilarious with Gavin getting a roasting from all parties but handling his own throughout! I had the best day at Chloe & Gavins Springkell Wedding with the couple who I feel I’ve gotten to know like friends since our first meeting.
