Dumfries Marquee Wedding | Sophie & Will’s Autumnal Awesomeness.
When Sophie & Will told me they had set a date I knew it would be a Dumfries Marquee Wedding. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Will & Sophie over the past couple of years. They both run Queensberry Events and The Dalswinton Wedding Estate too, so weddings are in their blood which I why I knew this would be a jaw-dropping wedding. The marquee was set to be in grounds and the front of Sophie’s family home in Annan. With picturesque views overlooking the Solway Firth and a beautiful sunny day we were in for a treat!
Preparations had been taken care of well in advance, With the marquee being put up the week before as there were lots to fill. Fresh, beautiful flowers everywhere sprawling from the tressels above the tables in front of the door as you entered and a beautiful hanging centrepiece right in the middle. They had a beautiful religious ceremony with lots of emotion and love throughout. They were lucky enough to have two marquees one set of purely for the service the other set up for the evening Reception.
We got some beautiful couples images both during the day and in the evening at their Dumfries marquee wedding. With Feeston lighting everywhere, on shepherds hooks, we made the most of the illuminations for some stunning evening portraits too. The couple opted for a, and every single one of there guests were up dancing having an absolute blast. Then to round the evening off with a massive BANG the couple had a firework display so as some of the guests watched from the front of the marquee everyone else headed up the steps outside to get a high vantage point for the extravaganza.
I had a fantastic time shooting all the little details at their beautiful Dumfries Marquee wedding, and I’m sure you will all agree they had a tremendous day!
