Scottish Beach Engagement Session
Jordana and Grants Scottish Beach Engagement was amazing. They both live at Southerness in South West Scotland, which has one of the longest coastlines and backs right onto the beach at Southerness and Powillimount too. We were waiting for weeks trying to get schedules to match up and the weather to play ball (it was Nov/Dec) after all.
Then finally the weather broke, and we woke up early to have golden hour Scottish beach engagement session but for the first time ever for me at Sunrise. The wind was fierce rolling in straight across from the Sea and was so Cold, but that didn’t put Jordana and Grant off one bit. They wrapped up warm and headed down to the beach just waiting for the sun to rise for the small wall of cloud above the horizon.
We had a great time getting fantastic shots including in front of Southerness’ iconic Lighthouse. Ran along the beachfront trying to stay warm but it wasn’t needed because Jordana & Grant brought all the fire themselves! We then took a quick drive over to Powillimount Beach which is just a few files further round the coast. Known for it’s exposed rock face which you can walk right the way through to the seafront it made for a final beautiful backdrop for the session. What a fantastic time we had with them both. Highly recommend the beach for anyone visiting the area and while you’re there get some food at the Paul Jones Hotel right at the beachfront! Like beach engagement photography Click here for more!
